The District Conference

Celebrate this year’s Rotary International theme of ‘Peace Through Service’. Each year, our District celebrates the hard work and dedication of  Rotarians, their families and their supporters with a four day Conference.

In this, our 25th anniversary as a District, we will be holding the Conference in the heart of downtown Vancouver at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel, from May 30 to June 2, 2013.

District 5050

extends from Everett, WA, USA to Hope, BC, Canada and has 58 clubs with just under 3000 members.

Our District is a world leader in our commitment to the fight against polio - raising over $1 Million US in just over three years, in addition to hundreds of thousands of dollars more in other international and community work.

iRotary

The theme for the Conference. The ‘i’ symbolizes the passion of the individual, combined with the power of the international, and the binding strength of the ability to inspire.

Rotary began with the dream of one person, founder Paul Harris. It changed the world through the power of the many who followed and joined his dream - each
inspiring others in turn.

iRotary also welcomes the ‘i generation’ - the generation of youth raised with the internet, iPhone and iPad. This Conference will be our first to fully integrate our future Rotarians and leaders.
